I believe that in order to tell your story, I have to know it. I have to know the two of you - how you interact, what’s important to you individually, and the memories and moments that have led you to meeting at the end of the aisle. — FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS —

 

  • Connecticut! About 10 minutes away from Mystic Connecticut and about an hour away from New Haven & Hartford as well as Providence and Newport, Rhode Island.

  • Not only do I travel for my own personal enjoyment, there is nothing I love more than traveling to a new place or returning to an “old” place to photograph couples madly in love. Use the contact form to get in touch and give me all the details on your next adventure! Nothing is out of the question for a destination wedding or engagement session.

  • Most Wedding Collections are bundled to include an Engagement Session. I am a firm believer in the impact having an Engagement Session prior to your wedding day can have on your overall day-of photography experience. The opportunity to connect in-person during your engagement season is so important!

  • Well first, let me just say: Your day - Your decision! But, for a lot of newly engaged couples they’ve never heard of a First Look and I’d like to explain what it is and a few of the potential benefits and drawbacks. A First Look allows the bride and groom to see each other before the ceremony and have some portraits taken at this time. Often this will include even some of the bridal party photos and family formals. This typically allows for flexibility in schedule and for you to visit with your guests during the cocktail hour. The potential drawback, of course, is that when you see each other at the ceremony it won’t be for the first time. For those looking for the traditional walk down the aisle, definitely opt out of a First Look and be prepared to take all of your photos during cocktail hour and see your guests out on the dance floor! There’s no right answer when it comes to a first look and I believe your Wedding Photographer should support you in whatever you choose - we’ll chat in detail about your timeline early on to make sure we account for this choice and can still capture all of your must-have photos.

  • I’m happy to say that not only are printed products a very important element of my business, credits for heirloom wedding albums are included in each of my wedding collections. Designing an album to tell my couples stories in between two covers that will be treasured for a lifetime is really one of my favorite pieces of my work as a Wedding Photographer.
