Before becoming a wedding photographer, I studied psychology—an unexpected but defining part of how I work. It taught me to observe the subtle things: the way a couple exhales when they settle into each other, the quiet pride of a parent watching from the corner, or the anticipatory hush right before a ceremony begins.
