Meet me, Cora Jane

People and relationships are everything to me. I’m the kind of person who values the deep conversations you have on road trips, and loves the process of getting to know new people. Life is about legacy, and legacy is about love. As I’ve entered into my newest role of “Mother” — I have learned the importance of the smallest, most tender moments. When I am entrusted with the task of documenting your smallest moments, I’m reminded even more of the beauty of life and our legacies as people.

I was born and raised in New Hampshire - Vivre libre ou Mourir; live free or die - a sentiment of strong independence that's ingrained in who I am. This motto paired well with my yearning for fresh mountain air and an obsession with everything maple. Some of my fondest memories are hiking Mt. Washington with my family and skiing the slopes every chance I had. Luckily, my dad also taught me to sail when I was little because today I'm a coastal girl living out all of my saltwater dreams. After growing up in NH I spent time in the city of brotherly love, where I pursued my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and (perhaps, temporarily) concluded my academic career at University of Oxford — where I learned that a great book and a good cuppa solves all.

COnnecticUt is my home
new england is my heart

I am now married to the love of my life, Andrew, living in southeastern Connecticut with our kids Jane and Charlie, and our dog, Archie. My career as a Connecticut Wedding Photographer in the Mystic area fuels my creativity and working with my clients brings me so much joy.

When not photographing weddings in New England and beyond, we spend our free time tackling endless projects throughout our home, exploring new, yet old, places, cooking up yummy food in our kitchen, and traveling.

Photography is a different path than I ever thought I’d take, but so far it’s one of my favorites. I have fallen in love not only with the art and creativity that it requires, but more importantly, the people I get to meet because of it. I can’t wait to get to know you, and I’m so glad you’re here.
