Your wedding day is a gathering of the people you love in a moment that will matter for the rest of your life.

That deserves more than good documentation. It deserves a photographer who understands the weight of what you're building, who shows up as a steady presence, and who has spent time understanding who you actually are before the day arrives.

This is a window into how I work.

the EXPERIENCE

I document weddings across Newport, coastal Connecticut, and throughout New England, with regular work in New York, Boston and Europe. Whether your celebration is intimate or expansive, destination or close to home, my approach stays the same: I show up to understand your story so deeply I can recognize when the moments that really matter are unfolding.

Everything I do is built on the belief that the best photographs exist as proof that someone was truly paying attention. Not just to what's beautiful, but to what's meaningful.

Because of the depth of time and attention I invest in each wedding, I accept a limited number of commissions each year. This ensures that when you work with me, you get my full presence and my best thinking.

From Block Island to Hawai’i, California to Montana, England, Scotland and Italy - I’ve photographed across the United States and Europe and prioritize arriving in advance to scout locations, understand light, and familiarize myself with the rhythm of your event.

For destination weddings, I travel early to account for any unforeseen delays and am versed in traveling with all of the gear necessary to document your wedding flawlessly. During my time scouting pre-celebration, I capture the landscape and scenery that tell the full story of your destination and all of the reasons you’ve chosen it..

My approach to destination work is the same as anywhere: quiet, attentive, and completely invested in holding the weight so you can be present.

DESTINATION WEDDINGS

“What stands out most of all is the professionalism and care she puts into her work. Her preparation meetings were so organized and we felt very taken care of from the beginning. She was extremely responsive, and went above and beyond by helping out with the flow of the day. Her work is clearly so important to her and it shows in the quality of her photographs and the respect she shows for her clients.”

ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS

An engagement session is an optional part of the experience. Some couples find deep value in this time together before the wedding day. It's a chance for us to understand how you move together, how you respond to the camera, and how we work as a team. It's also a chance for you to practice being photographed in a low-stakes setting, which many couples find makes the wedding day feel more natural.

If you decide an engagement session is right for you, we'll work with you to choose a location that means something to your story. This might be the place you got engaged, a landscape that matters to you, or a location we scout together in a destination you're traveling to for your wedding.

WEDDING PREPARATION

Before your wedding day, we send you a comprehensive questionnaire. We ask about your family, the people who matter most, the logistics of your day, the details you want witnessed, and the moments that carry weight for you.

We use your answers to build your detailed timeline and your family formals list. We're not sending you a generic template on the morning of your wedding and asking you to figure out logistics. We've already done that work. We know where to be and when. We understand who needs to be photographed together and why. We anticipate the moments that are coming.

This is where our background in psychology becomes tangible. Understanding family systems, group dynamics, and how people move through significant moments informs how we approach your day. We think about how your family functions, what might feel awkward, and how to shepherd everyone through the formal moments with grace.

On the day itself, you're not managing us. We're managing the details so you can be fully present.

FAQs

What's included in your COLLECTIONS?

Everything is custom based on your day. We discuss coverage hours, any additional events (rehearsal dinner, engagement session, post-wedding shoot), album options, and any special requests. We'll walk through exactly what we're creating together.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. We regularly photograph weddings outside New England, including destination work in Europe. Travel logistics are discussed during the inquiry process.

What if we THINK WE want an engagement session but we're not sure?

Reach out! I can help you think through whether it makes sense for your particular situation and comfort level with being photographed. It's optional, and we're honest about when it serves a couple well and when it might not be necessary.

Photographs live best in print. A digital gallery is temporary storage. An album is legacy.

An album is the thing you actually look at. It's the thing that sits on your coffee table. It's the thing your children will find decades from now and understand their family's story through.

Our album design process happens during your Zoom gallery delivery. We talk through what matters most to you. We consider the pacing of the images, the way your eye moves through each page, the feeling of turning from one moment to the next. We think about this as carefully as you think about your wedding day itself.

FAQs

Do you offer same day edits?

I don't. I believe your gallery deserves full editorial attention and careful curation, which means I finish the work after your day has ended, not during it.

So when do we get our photos?

You’ll see a sneak peek within 24 hours. Week-of gallery (50-150 images) within one week. And full gallery delivered within 8 weeks delivered via Zoom call.

Do you offer drone photography?

I do! I’m a licensed Part 107 drone pilot. That being said, due to regulations, weather, and other variables drone coverage is never something I guarantee. If interested in receiving aerial footage as a part of your gallery, mention this and we’ll chat about what it looks like!
